Barrier Film Cuts Oxygen, Minimizes Cost

Danafilms' coextruded EVOH sealant film offers five to 10 times the oxygen barrier of PVDC-coated PET, while lowering the cost. Multiple advantages are provided by the film's ability to eliminate discoloration, odor and the high costs associated with PVDC, co. says. Converters can now reverse print on plain PET and laminate with the coextruded EVOH sealant film. The high-barrier film also offers excellent seal for food particles and oils.
