Danafilms Announces ISO 9001 Certification
4/1/2007
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Westborough, Mass., April 1, 2007) Danafilms, Inc., a reliable, national leader in providing polyethylene film announces that both of its film facilities have achieved ISO 9001:2000 Certification deeming Danafilms an ISO certified company. Their Westborough, Mass. facility was certified in 2003, and their Franklin, Ky. facility was granted certification in March, 2007.
ISO 9001:2000 certification is granted to organizations that follow a set of international standards for quality that ensures consistent delivery of products and services. The ISO certification provides a universal baseline for quality management and is the latest achievement for Danafilms as part of its goals to consistently exceed customers’ expectations and provide the highest quality products possible, at a fair price.
To achieve 9001:2000 certification, Danafilms completed a rigorous documentation process to demonstrate that all of their products use a consistent, high-standard quality system. “It gives a much greater comfort level to our customers,” said General Manager Alan Simoncini. “It’s especially important from the standpoint of consistency of product, accountability of product, and being able to document and follow the system through.”
